Please join the Steering Committee as we engage in an alternatives assessment to determine the best design options for the Creek Walk Trail segment(s) connecting Mayfair Avenue to the Wichita Parking Lot. This process seeks to build a trail system that reflects the community vision set forth in the Manitou Springs Creek Walk Master Plan, while simultaneously considering new opportunities for trail experiences in a natural setting, ADA accessibility, access to businesses and destinations, safety, creek corridor protection, restoration, neighborhood compatibility, trail connectivity and opportunities for uniquely Manitou cultural, historic and arts experiences.

You can participate in evaluating for the design alternatives identified in the community-supported 2018 Manitou Springs Creek Walk Master Plan right now by sending along your questions and/or comments to the Project Steering Committee.

We encourage our community to provide their responses to the Draft Design by participating in a community meeting in winter 2022.

The recommended design alternative will be submitted to the Open Space Advisory Council (OSAC) for recommendation, and to City Council for approval.
