Fire Training Facility Outreach

Overview

The City is building a facility that provides opportunities for Fire Department personnel and volunteers to train and drill in a controlled environment, which resembles the community of Manitou Springs. This is needed to ensure the safety of our first responders and that they are sufficiently prepared to react to actual emergency events.

Policy - Community Meeting

The Manitou Springs Fire Department is holding a community meeting to discuss and share the policy for their Fire Training Facility at 1000 Water Treatment Plant Road. Community members are encouraged to attend this meeting and discuss neighborhood and community input regarding this Facility. 

The meeting is on November 12^th at 6PM at Memorial Hall (606 Manitou Avenue). We hope to see you there!
