Overview
Whether you are a member of the public or a member of the media, we are here to help you get the information you need. We provides information on the latest news and events happening in Manitou Springs., and also work closely with City departments and the City Council to provide information to residents, businesses and visitors. If you have a question or comment, email us and we will make sure your inquiry gets to the appropriate department or person.
In addition, the Public Information Officer performs the following functions:
- Webmaster
- Manages social media pages
- Distributes press releases
- Distributes direct communication like postcards, text messages, etc.
Communication Methods
Currently, you can receive news and updates from the City directly on Facebook and Nextdoor, where we post information daily. In addition, you can stay up-to-date on all city press releases by visiting our

Annually, we also solicit feedback from our residents through a community survey. These happen in the Springs/Summer timeframe, with the analysis posted below a few months after.
